Course Description
The Get Ready for Open Source: SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (Book 1) course (6200) provides a step-by-step introduction to SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED), which comes, out of the box, with a rich set of applications. The student workbook has lesson content for about 60 hours.
Students are motivated to learn Linux through a series of exercises that give them "hands on" experience with the desktop and encourage them to explore the Internet for answers to relevant questions.
